February Weather
Visitors will love the mild winter weather in Destin and 30A during February. Average daily highs typically range from 61°F to 66°F (16°C to 19°C), with slightly warmer days in the last half of the month. It is not uncommon for the temperature to reach the low 70s°F. Nighttime lows fall between 44°F and 50°F (7°C to 10°C). This is one of the driest months of the year, with an average of five to six wet days.
The water temperature in the Gulf is at its coldest, averaging 63°F to 64°F (17°C to 18°C). Typically, this is too cold for most people to swim or snorkel. However, people still enjoy paddleboarding, kayaking, and other activities on the water.
