Day 1 – Arrive and Settle In
Once you arrive at Emerald Coast vacation rental, settle in and take a stroll around the condo grounds. The oceanfront locations of all our complexes allow you to walk straight out to the sugar-white sands bordering the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf. Take a relaxing walk out on the beach before heading out to dinner with your golf group at the Crab Trap Destin or The Red Bar for a fun night of live music and drinks.
Day 2 – Play Regatta Bay
The Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club is the first stop on your Destin and 30A golf trip. This collection of 18 well-manicured greens and fairways offers an incredible experience for all golfers, and frequently ranks as one of the top golf courses in the Sunshine State.
Once you finish your golf game, head back to your condo and take a break from the sun on your covered balcony. Then, head out for a nice dinner at Vue on 30A or a casual bite to eat at LuLu’s Destin.
Day 3 – Play Indian Bayou Golf & Country Club
Indian Bayou Golf and Country Club is tucked away and feels very much like a hidden gem. This 18 hole golf course near Henderson Beach State Park with an excellent layout was designed by golf course architect Earl Stone. It features 7 078 yards of fairways that complement the surrounding natural scenery. Enjoy a day out in nature at this club with a top-rated staff, course, and facilities.
Day 4 – Take a Beach Day
After two golf-filled days on the Emerald Coast, take a day to kick back and relax on the beautiful beaches. There’s nothing quite like soaking in the warm Florida sunshine on the white sand as your look out across the water. Whether you bring activities like bocci ball or Spike Ball, or you want to bring your favorite book while enjoying a cold beverage, there are endless ways to spend a day on the beach here. Plus, the clear waters are a refreshing reprieve from the hot sun.
Day 5 – Hit the Raven Golf Club
The next stop on your golf trip in Destin and 30A is Raven Golf Club. This course sits across the street from Baytowne Wharf and is home to some of the best greens in the area. A bevy of challenging sand traps and water features dominate this course. The surrounding marshes and pine trees provide beautiful scenery throughout each hole.
After playing 18 holes here, head over to The Village at Baytowne Wharf for lunch at one of the many restaurants before returning to your condo for a relaxing evening ordering takeout or cooking in your full kitchen.
Day 6 – Spend the Day on the Water
You can’t spend a week in Destin and 30A without getting out on the water. Rent a boat, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard and float on the Choctawhatchee Bay for a fun day on the water. It’s a great way to see the area and enjoy the fresh ocean breeze before spending another relaxing evening at your condo overlooking the ocean.
Day 7 – Cap off Your Golf Trip at Kelly Plantation
Spend the last day of your Destin and 30A golf trip at the semi-private Kelly Plantation Golf Course. This local course features 18 holes spanning 7,099 yards, overlooking Choctawhatchee Bay. Golf Digest consistently gives this course a five-star rating, putting it in the top 5% of all golf courses in America. It’s not uncommon to see dolphins splashing in the distance as you play this course!
Finish off your trip with a waterfront meal at Boshamps or Tailfins Waterfront Grill, watching the sun dip below the Gulf!
