The Best 30A Events in Every Season
Spring
Sandestin Wine Festival
This mid-April event held in Miramar Beach is known as the “Kentucky Derby of Wine Festivals”. Featuring hundreds of domestic and international wines accompanied by elaborate Gulf Coast seafood cuisine, this festival is a great way to spend a spring weekend at the beach.
Art Week South Walton
Celebrate South Walton’s vibrant and growing arts and culture scene at this week-long showcase. The event features six different exhibitions along the 30A corridor, including the ArtsQuest Fine Art Festival and the Northwest Florida Theatre Festival.
Summer
Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic
Check out the catch of the day at this premier sport-fishing tournament based in Baytowne Marina. The mid-June event features exciting weigh-ins in with anglers dueling it out for almost two million dollars in prizes. There is also nightly entertainment and activities, including fireworks and live music!
Seaside 4th of July Parade
Celebrate America’s birthday by sporting some red, white, and blue at the parade and festivities. Visitors and residents are welcome to watch or be a part of the 1.5-mile journey down 30A. After the parade, judges select the winning entries and the family fun commences with music and activities.
Fall
30A 10K Thanksgiving Day Races
Join over 6,000 yearly participants in Rosemary Beach to take part in the second largest race in South Walton. Have fun and serve the community in this 30A event, put on by a non-profit organization that raises money for local charities.
South Walton Celebrity Golf Classic
This golf tournament features a variety of events throughout the weekend, including a dinner gala, auction, entertainment, and two fun-filled days of golf. Celebrities are paired with players to benefit the Operation Renewed Hope Foundation, which helps homeless veterans in the United States.
Seeing Red Wine Festival
Head over to the Seeing Red Wine Festival in Seaside for a taste of Southern tradition and excellent wines. After all, who doesn’t want to spend the day relaxing on the beach and heading in for an afternoon wine tasting?
Winter
30A Songwriters Festival
Experience a feast for your ears at this weekend event showcasing over 175 songwriters and 225 performances at 25 different venues throughout South Walton. The festivals offer visitors the perfect mix of beach fun and live music.
Seaside School Half Marathon and 5K Run: Tase of the Race
This three-day event features plenty of fun, food, and racing! Runners from over 30 states travel to Seaside every year for the Taste of the Race event, a race expo, and half marathon and 5K.
