Start your Independence Day with some of the best events on the Emerald Coast. You’ll find small-town parades, family festivals, live music, and fireworks all across Destin and 30A.
Grayton Beach 4th of July Parade
Kick off your morning with this favorite local tradition in Grayton Beach. The parade starts at 8:00 am near The Red Bar on Hotz Avenue, with decorated golf carts, bikes, and lots of patriotic spirit.
Seaside Independence Day Celebration
Seaside puts on one of the biggest 30A celebrations, starting at 9:00 am and lasting all day. There’s a block party, live music, a patriotic bike parade, and the annual Hot Dog Eating Contest. In the evening, catch the Patriotic Pops Concert at 7:00 pm in the Seaside Amphitheater, then watch fireworks over the Gulf at 8:30 pm to end the night.

Red, White, and Baytowne
At Baytowne Wharf in Miramar Beach, this free, family-friendly event takes place on Saturday, July 4th, from 6:00 to 9:15 pm and features live entertainment and festive fun. Enjoy live music from Saltwater Revival, along with activities for kids like face painting, balloon sculpting, and patriotic crafts throughout the Events Plaza. Grab a spot by the lagoon, snap a photo with the giant American flag, and end the night with a stunning fireworks display over the water at 9:15 pm.
HarborWalk Village: Fourth of July on The Harbor 250th Edition
Head to Destin Harbor for one of the area’s largest Independence Day celebrations, kicking off at 6:00 pm with live music, street performers, and family-friendly entertainment along the harbor. Festivities build throughout the evening, ending with a spectacular fireworks show over the water at 9:00 pm.
Fourth of July Celebration at the Fort Walton Beach Landing
This waterfront celebration at Fort Walton Beach Landing runs from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. There’s live music, local performers, and food vendors serving everything from BBQ and wings to sweet treats. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, relax with your family, and watch fireworks over the Santa Rosa Sound around 8:45 pm.
