So now you have your Gulf front condo rented and you are ready to go and it’s time to pack. So what do you need to bring for your family beach vacation with Your Friend at the Beach? This is a call Your Friend at the Beach gets every week – because what are friends for?
• Hair dryers
Yes! We provide hair dryers in every bathroom. Plus, we have hand soaps, shower soaps and two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Each bathroom also has 100% cotton towels, hand towels and wash cloths.
• Pack and Play?
High chair? Yes, we provide a “pack and play” and a high chair in every condo. New this year, we also provide for a small fee full-size cribs, strollers and other baby equipment. We deliver and set it up for free.
• Blender?
Of course! We have high-powered blenders such as Ninja’s in our twenty-five-gulf front and gulf view condos. Smoothies or margaritas – we’ve got you covered.
• Stocked Kitchen?
We know some of you love to cook for friends and family even on vacation. So, we’ve stocked our kitchens with plenty of dishware, cookware, silverware plus extra items not always found like a crock pot and a large pot for boiling shrimp. But if you don’t like to cook, you can check our free app YFAB for our favorite restaurants like Borago, Cafe Tango and Stinky’s Fish Camp.
There are basic items like salt and pepper and coffee filters as well. We check weekly to be sure there are plenty of wine glasses and many of the condos now have stemless wine glasses. The wine glasses with stems seem to break more often – and although that is covered by our damage waiver – we don’t want you to have less than you need! We also provide plastic cups so you can take your beverages down to the pool and hot tub. We will have your first bottle of wine waiting for you when you arrive!
• Beach towels?
While we don’t provide beach towels, we do leave a beach towel as a gift for you to use during your stay – and take home with you as a memory of your beach vacation. It also has our website embroidered on it so you never lose touch with your friend at the beach!
• Sheets?
Yes, we provide 100% cotton sheets for each bed, plus extra pillows in every closet. Although all pillows have a pillow protector we inspect them each week to make sure they are in great shape.
• Beach toys?
Except for the ground floor condos where we keep a box for beach toys, we don’t have beach toys in each condo due to the sand factor. New this year, our concierge at the beach can drop off beach toys along with a rented crib or stroller. Just call Tori at 850-586-5160.
• Speakers?
Yes, we have a wireless Bluetooth speaker in many of our condos so you can wirelessly connect your music to be played in your condo. Jimmy Buffet anyone (listen to Margaritaville while sipping a Margarita)?
• TV?
Like the idea of the family gathered around a big screen to check out the latest blockbuster? There are flat screen TVs in the living area and every bedroom. our TVs are set up to pair with Apple TV or Roku. If you forget to pack yours, call our concierge at the beach to have one delivered for your stay for a small fee.
• Ceiling fans in bedrooms?
Yes, we have ceiling fans in each bedroom with the exception of the bunk bed rooms due to safety concerns. If you need a fan in a bunk bed room, please call our concierge at the beach to have one dropped off for your stay.
So, no need to pack the kitchen sink as we do have that, but you do need to call Your Friend at the Beach if you haven’t reserved your summer vacation at the beach. Our online booking calendars for luxury gulf front condos at Adagio, San Remo and Villa Coyaba are getting packed quickly with summer stays.
